NSWPSA & NSWISA Eric Radford Seminar

In collaboration with NSWISA, NSWPSA is pleased to offer a development Seminar with Eric Radford. Mark Hanretty will also be facilitating on Day 1.
Eric Radford is a Canadian Pair Skater. With former partner Meagan Duhamel, he is a two-time World Champion (2015, 2016), a 2018 Olympic gold medallist in the team event, a 2014 Olympic silver medallist in the team event, a 2018 Olympic bronze medallist in the pairs event, a two-time Four Continents Champion (2013, 2015), the 2014–15 Grand Prix Final Champion, and a seven-time Canadian National Champion (2012–18).
In April 2021, Radford announced a return to competition with new partner Vanessa James. They represented Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics and were the bronze medalists at the 2022 World Championships.
Currently Eric works as a Coach, Choreographer, Composer and participates in shows touring internationally.
Mark Hanretty is a Scottish former competitive ice dancer who represented the United Kingdom with Christina Chitwood. They are two-time (2008, 2010) British medalists and competed at the 2009 European Championships, placing 18th and at the 2010 World Figure Skating Championships in Turin, Italy. Hanretty served as a professional skater on the ITV competition series Dancing on Ice from 2011 until his departure in 2025.
Mark went on to Coach and choreograph for numerous Skaters from various nations alongside performing as a Professional Skater around the world. Most notably he was a regular for twelve seasons on Torvill and Dean’s hit show, Dancing on Ice. Off the ice Mark is known as the voice of the figure skating for the International Skating Union at numerous Junior and Senior Championship events.
The development Seminar will cover the areas of Skating Skills, Expression, Jumps, Spins, and Off-Ice.
In addition to Eric and Mark’s sessions there will also be Off-Ice development opportunities such as:
- Performance/Acting Class
- Components and New ISA / ISU rule sessions facilitated by Senior NSWISA Officials

Spaces are limited to 50 coaches per day and will be managed on a first in first served basis.
Skater & Official Registrations will be managed by NSWISA.
